The work of the International Mentoring Association happens at three levels
- The IMA Board of Directors
- IMA Regional Groups and Affiliates
- The IMA Committees
Joining a committee is a great way to interact with your mentoring colleagues, give back to the Association, help determine the way things happen within the IMA, and to build your own skills and experience in mentoring. If you might want to join the IMA Board of Directors some day, working on an IMA committee is a great first step to that later service.
Generally, committee Chairs are IMA Directors Your role on the committee is determined by the experience, skills, and strengths you bring, and the focus of your interests. You can be as involved as you choose to be, and, the extent of your involvement can be adjusted any time you wish. We are glad for whatever help you can offer, as your schedule allows.
